Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our Dispute Resolution Department. The successful candidate will be used to managing a diverse caseload independently, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen and the ability to work without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve a wide range of disputes.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Prepare legal documents, including statements of case, witness statements, court applications and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in court or at mediation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years PQE in dispute resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation
  • Good advocacy skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients, visitors, and employees with a warm and friendly manner.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate individuals, and take messages when necessary.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory as needed.
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide support in various office tasks.
  • Utilise office software and equipment effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
